Oh hey there! So this is a little recap of a few things we did in 2011 that I don't want to forget.

We had many visits to New Mexico especially our last one with my sweet Granny

Jer Bear surprised me with tickets to WICKED! Jeremy wants to thank my 2006 college roomies for getting me hooked on it so that he gets to listen to it A LOT. So fun!

Jeremy was a soccer player (put together 5 min before party) I on the other hand had like 5 hours to plan... I was self- absorbed.

Southern Caribbean cruise with the Wray's. I mean Lagoon was a pretty fun vacation but this was a slight upgrade. Thanksgiving on a cruise ship is not overrated.

Jeremy's graduation (I missed it... Stomach flu... I asked him to go back on campus with his cap and gown to recreate the moment... He said No thanks... So sad) thanks again Gena for taking pictures for me!

Christmas with ALL of us home... my moms house will never be the same.

And finally we mad the big move... Blackfoot ID... Oh baby!
Bye town house and Rexburg. We will miss our little house and our friends!

Hunter vs Zebra

So my mom brought Hunter this amazing stuffed animal zebra as a late birthday present and to say that he loves it is a major understatement.

It looks like its 1 point for the zebra!
We had so much fun with my mom and Taylor here... And of course I did not take one picture... I stink!

Jeremy did capture some moments of Taylor's amazing 21st birthday bash and someday I will get them from him and post them!

Hunters birthday part 1

So I may never get Hunters real birthday pictures on here because they are on Jeremy's laptop and he is intergalactic and has it with him at all times. So... Here is a little preview.

Jill, Easton and Leah came over with some presents! They even had a special delivery from Grammy all the way from New Mexico. Nothing like balloons and a dump truck to make your day special. Thanks Grammy! Jill was so nice to give him a ball with a bell in it and a pig that oinks...Hunter LOVES it... I think I hear it in my sleep. Thanks Jill... Paybacks?

I love President Uchtdorf and Jeremy thinks he is the schnitzel of apostles (it's a Germany thing). I am a visual person so I was so pumped when I saw this picture! Print it, frame it, display it!

Okay so funny story. I was making dinner and Hunter loves to dart to the fridge every time I open it and see how many things he can pull out before I close it again. Well I thought I got him out before he got ahold of anything... Nope a few minutes later I look over and Hunter has a plum in his mouth chowing down!! How he hasn't chocked is a mystery to me! So what do you do... Take a picture!

Oh my hunter is 11 months now and growing up right before our eyes! This kid loves to eat! (takes after his mom) here our some of his latest food shots

I got a little ambitious and cleaned Hunters closet out of all the clothes at don't fit anymore, it really makes you realize just how big they really are!

I am not sure if you can see the bad boy above his left eye... Let's just say he surprised mom with his stair climbing abilities. The baby gate is now a permanent companion to my top and bottom stair.

We love Saturday night and Sunday mornings when Jeremy gets to come home and see us!

A lot can happen in 3 years

Sometimes I sit there and think "man it feels like Jer and I have been married forever" (in a good way)! Then when I sit and really think about it 3 years is nothing in the grand scheme of things. I love almost everything that has happened in these 3 years (minus about 3 harvest and 1 tax season) all in all life is pretty great thanks to my little family!

Sometimes life gets a little... Crazy!

I have had many people ask me what it is that I do all day... Then I ask my mom 6 kids really?

Well July has been a little bit of a crazy month. We went to Farmington for Emma's reception and to see Granny. Then a week later we went back for Granny's funeral. It was a bitter sweet visit and to tell you the truth it all still feels like a blur. It was so amazing to see all all of my family and play some catch up.

I stole this picture from my cousin Paul who is amazing! The crazy thing is that this isn't even the whole family. I love them all!

Then the day I got back was mine and Jer's 3rd anniversary. The next night Jill was nice enough to watch Hunter so that we could go out to dinner. Then away he went to harvest some grain in Blackfoot (nice knowing you) don't worry it's only for August this time. He already managed to send me this picture

No Jeremy I still don't think your tractor is sexy.

Granny

My sweet Granny passed away yesterday...and I am pretty sure it was the best day of her life. I have never been around anyone who was so ready to return back to her Maker. I sometimes feel like she was on this earth for 92 years for all of our sakes. If anyone has been an example of enduring to the end it would be my Granny.
I was at a ward party at my Bishop's house when I heard the news from my cousin Todd, I walked away made a few calls... had a moment or two loosing it, then getting it back together to return to the party. I feel like it was a tender mercy to have Todd and Martha there to tell stories with and talk about the amazing life that our Granny led. My Granny was not one to talk a lot or be the center of attention but when she said something you made sure to listen and no one forgot it. Our favorite quote will always be "God doesnt bless you when your stupid"! Then she would let out a chuckle.
Jill and I just made a trip to New Mexico and were able to spend some time with Granny for her last few days on this earth. I feel so blessed to have had that time that I will never forget. As I was just sitting next to her I looked at her aged face with love and admiration. When Jill held up her new baby Leah (named after Granny) for Granny to see and told her what her name was Granny just smiled and my mom Jill and I cried. It was one of the most tender moments. It then made me realize the importance of the Legacy we were each carrying and the scripture "where much is given much is required". My mom described these last few weeks with Granny perfectly... It was like sitting in the Temple, it was quiet, peaceful and full of the spirit. My eyes just fill with tears when I think of the reunion between my Granny and Grandad who in the grand scheme of things have only been apart for a short time but on this earth it was a long 11 years.
I feel like my testimony has grown while reflecting on Granny's life. She served faithfully in the church, in her home and to her neighbors. I know that Granny has impacted my life and the lives of all those who new her. When I grow up I want to be just like Granny...I better get going... I'm a little behind!

Crazy New Mexicans

Well Jill and I were feeling a little brave and decided that we would head down to the land of enchantment ... with all three of the kidos... with only 3 seat belts in the back... for 10 hours... we ended up doing it in two days.

It was Emma's reception and we worked on the yard non stop until the day came, then during a major drought may I remind you, it thunder stormed like it was going to flood and we needed to catch an ark... good thing Emma and Hyrum know how to have a good time and danced under the tent like there was no tomorrow. I somehow managed to get zero pictures of the reception (so I stole some off of her Facebook) but got a lot of my nephews and new nieces.

Preston- we don't get to see this cutie near enough so I am so sad I ended up with zero good pictures of him. Preston and Hunter are about 5 months apart and I have a feeling that these two will become best buds!

Our little lady Leah Marie, she is seriously like the best baby...love her!

Leah and Macy are only 6 days apart but Macy beats her out by about 3 pounds. Love those chubby cheeks!

Katie Lady... I know you would never think she had 3 children and her smallest was 9 pounds!

I love these of 6 of the 7 grand kids (we are retarded and didn't take these when Preston and Kelly were there) we may have to do some photo shop.

We had such a blast and loved our visits with Granny... It made it worth every hour of that long trip!

It is so funny that I have become a major blogger as of late. The main reason is because I got this great new app where i can just whip a post together. So i am on a quest to document as much of this little guys life as I can!

Jer was so nice to take Hunter this morning so that I could sleep in...when I came down this is what I found...

Today Easton got to come over while Jill took baby Leah to get her lab work done. They played hard outside and decided to take a time out to watch some Dora (lucky me)!

Oh Hello Everyone

Welp I finally joined the band wagon. I used to think that there was nothing worthy of putting on a blog until I reflected back on mine and Jeremy’s first year of marriage, and realized that it has been wonderful but interesting. Our first month of marriage we moved into a 5th wheel on my in- laws (who are so wonderful!) property so that Jeremy could spend his days farming and riding in his combine singing “She thinks my tractors sexy”. I spent my days traveling back and forth from Blackfoot to Rexburg to go to school. Much to everyone’s surprise including my own we survived harvest, although I never want to see a potato again.

So as the months passed we both went back to school at good old BYU- Idaho, and Jeremy worked hard to get his straight A’s and I worked hard to pass my classes. After we celebrated our 1 year anniversary we went right back into Harvest (I can smell the potatoes now) I will have to put some pictures up so you can see the farming in action.
